Surgical workload continuing to increase

During the last half of the year the number of patients coming for surgery continues to increase. Recently there have been several special weeks allocated for specific types of surgical cases which include orthopaedics, plastic, cataracts, fistula and they have even done a couple hip replacements.The above is all in addition to the regular work load and the emergencies and also visits are done on a regular basis almost evert week to one of the other mission hospitals for surgical cases.
